Jay Miller - Wine Advocate
The 2006 Pinot Noir is medium ruby-colored with an
excellent nose of mineral, wild raspberry, and cherry. This leads
to a medium-bodied wine with ample ripe fruit, light tannin, and
a fruit-driven style. Drink this very good value over the next 3-4
years.
Andrew Pirie was Australia’s first Ph.D. in Viticulture and
a pioneer in Tasmania vineyards and winemaking. In '03 he founded
his namesake winery.
