Antonio Galloni - Wine Advocate
The estate’s 2003 Lupicaia a deep, opaque red,
is perhaps slightly more complete than the Castello, showing greater
aromatic complexity and a tightly-wound core of ripe fruit, with
plush personality, superb length and more structure than its sibling,
closing with a lingering note of sweetness on the finish. It also
gives the impression of having just a little more acidity as well
as freshness than the Castello.
